Responsibilities:
- UX Design:-
- Apply user-centered design principles to create high-quality user experiences for various software platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, considering both functionality and aesthetics.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iteratively improve designs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:-
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
- Advocate for design system adoption and usability best practices within the organization.
- Collaborate with fellow designers to maintain a consistent look and feel across all products and features.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to UX design and design systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities for design system enhancements and usability improvements
- Design System -
- Work closely with designers and frontend developers to evolve our design system while maintaining an established standard
Goals:
- Conduct user research, prototypes/mock-ups and deliver on UI requirements for the assigned product areas.
- Increase usability metrics and own user journey optimisation for the assigned product areas.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on building and maintaining design systems for complex applications.
- Proficiency in designing and prototyping using Figma.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and information architecture principles.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their constraints and possibilities within design systems, is an added plus.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into designs.
