Purpose of the Job

At 6sense, customer trust is key. As members of 6sense’s Security department, the Field Security team serves as the public face of 6sense’s information security program. The team is tasked with providing high levels of security assurance to customers and prospects through customer assurance and field enablement programs. The manager of this team is responsible for oversight of daily operations, execution of field security project initiatives, and people management.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead and oversee the execution of all customer security assessments (questionnaires) within agreed-upon timeframes, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and accuracy.
  • Administer the SafeBase Trust Center and other customer self-service security resources, ensuring they are comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Maintain and enhance the standard security response database (Responsive) for 6sense, with a focus on continued process improvement.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Engineering, Product and Enterprise Applications, to ensure alignment on library content and Field Security procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy of the Field Security dashboard in Salesforce.
  • Improve SharePoint handbook pages, procedures and runbooks related to Field Security.
  • Contribute to the development of customer-facing security collateral for the 6sense Trust Site.
  • Drive efforts to identify and implement automation solutions that enhance field security processes and improve efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address any emerging or heightened customer security concerns, communicating effectively with management.
  • Flexible working hours that overlap with US Pacific time zone Monday - Thursday.

Performance Measurement

  • Prepare for and participate in weekly 1:1s with manager and monthly skip level.
  • Participate in standing meetings with CSMs for key Field Security tooling (e.g. SafeBase, Responsive).
  • Ensure timely completion of all customer assessment requests, with the ability to escalate complex questions to appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) independently.
  • Maintain up-to-date collateral, metrics, and processes to enhance the efficiency of Field Security processes.
  • Execute on milestones associated with major Field Security projects.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience being part of a Security team or Security focused role (i.e. security solutions consultant)
  • 3+ years of experience using RFP management tools, such as Responsive or Loopio.
  • General knowledge of common information security management frameworks, regulatory requirements and applicable standards such as: ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, etc.
  • Basic understanding of privacy frameworks and data protection regulations, such as GDPR.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and security-related tools and software, such as AuditBoard and Jira.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC, are highly desirable

  • Displays strong organizational skills, efficiently prioritizing tasks and managing time within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Evangelizes security best practices throughout the organization.
  • Drives projects and tasks to completion by following up on questions, meeting deadlines, and requesting input as needed.
  • Demonstrates proactive prioritization skills and escalates issues to management when necessary.
