The Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior People Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be a key partner in supporting our US and North America based teams throughout the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for enhancing the employee experience, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with local regulations

People Ops Client Group Support

  • Partner with designated People Partners and employees to deliver exceptional people ops support, ensuring a smooth and efficient employee experience.
  • Guide employees through the employee journey, offering support for onboarding, offboarding, transfers, leaves, accommodations, benefits, and immigration.
  • Maintain employee files and process employee data changes.
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding process, including communicating with new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out, and conducting new hire orientation.
  • Process voluntary and involuntary separations, including drafting termination documents, communicating with the employee, processing terminations in Workday, and coordinating with the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee employee benefits matters, including answering employee questions, processing benefits transactions in Workday, liaising with vendors, and assisting with open enrollment annually.
  • Guide employees through the leave process, connecting them to our leave vendors (where applicable), and ensuring proper compliance with relevant laws and pay practices.
  • Assist employees with travel visas.
  • Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as and when required.

Process & Compliance

  • Partner closely with the people team and cross-functional stakeholders to implement and continuously refine people ops processes and services with a focus on scalability, simplicity, and employee experience.
    • Collaborate with members of the people operations team to roll out employee and manager enablement initiatives.
    • Maintain existing people operations process documents and recommend improvements.
    • Leverage people technology tools to create automations and efficiencies in day-to-day processes.
    • Oversee benefits billing and procurement processes.

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations supporting the entire employee lifecycle, ideally with experience supporting US-based teams.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional service to US-based employees at all levels of the organization - and a dedication to continually improving the employee experience.
    • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong process thinking ability. You are energized by finding opportunities to improve existing processes through efficient use of technology and design.
    • Able to program manage multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated subject matter expertise in onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, leave administration, and managing contingent workers.
    • Strong focus and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and people systems (Workday, Freshservice, Lucidchart).
    • Proficiency in Excel.
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, PHR or SHRM certification preferred
