About the Role

This is where you come in. Below, you’ll find what this role is all about—the impact you’ll drive, the challenges you’ll tackle, and what it takes to thrive at Addi. If you’re ready to be part of something big, keep reading.

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Ensure end‑to‑end daily compensation and settlement across networks (ACH, MasterCard, PSE, etc.), maintain accurate and timely reconciliations, and certify all regulatory reports with strong evidence, controls, and auditability.

What you will do

  • On‑time compensation and settlement: Own the daily compensation cycle with ACH (Integra), MasterCard/MCCA and other rails, meeting all windows and cut‑offs with 0 team‑attributable delays.

  • Regulatory reporting certification: Prepare, validate, and certify the accuracy and completeness of information periodically reported to the Superintendencia Financiera (SFC), achieving zero rejections for data quality in the first 6 months.

  • Operational control dashboard: Publish a dashboard within 60 days tracking timeliness, open breaks by network, aging, regulatory rejections, and SLA compliance.

  • Process automation: Design and deploy at least 2 high‑impact automations for reconciliations or regulatory cut‑offs using SQL/Python or low‑code.

  • Traceability & audit: Establish logs and evidence of who/when/what/why/supporting files for each compensation milestone and every regulatory submission, linked to tickets and artifacts.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven expertise with core banking processes or operations

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a bank operations or fintech operations role within the Colombian financial system.

    • Deep familiarity with core banking operational flows, including ACH compensation/settlement (Integra), card network processes (MasterCard/VISA, MCCA), and multi-system banking reconciliation.

    • Experience operating Bank products/features such as ACH transfers, PSE, and debit cards, preferably MasterCard.

  • Financial reconciliation and controls expertise

    • Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-system reconciliations with preventive/detective controls and a risk-focused approach.

    • Close partnership with Treasury and Accounting teams for daily and month-end closes.

    • Top-tier attention to detail and ability to break down complex operational problems into measurable components.

  • Regulatory rigor and certification

    • Familiar with reporting standards to Colombian authorities (e.g., SFC) and related obligations (e.g., DIAN/GMF).

    • Evidence-driven certification approach and data quality discipline to meet the highest regulatory standards.

  • Impeccable analytical and quantitative mindset

    • Proficient in SQL for querying and data analysis; experience with BI tools (Databricks, Looker, PowerBI).

    • Desirable: Python or low-code tools for automating repetitive tasks and building scalable solutions.

    • Ability to use data to find root causes and validate solutions, not just surface-level fixes.

  • Process design & automation mindset

    • Proactively identifies inefficiencies and systematically designs streamlined, scalable, and automated solutions.

    • Track record of successfully designing and implementing new operational processes from scratch, measurably improving efficiency or strengthening controls.

  • Extreme ownership & bias for action

    • Operates autonomously, communicates risks and decisions clearly, and delivers under tight operational cut-offs.

    • Takes full responsibility for operational outcomes with a sense of urgency, even in ambiguous situations.

    • Comfort in managing longer-term deliverables while handling unexpected near-term priorities.
