About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Build and scale AI-driven solutions that measurably increase efficiency across Addi. You will automate high-impact workflows by designing agentic systems and hybrid ML models that run reliably in production, partnering with Engineering to turn complex business needs into scalable, automated "augmented teams.

What you will do

  • Establish Design Excellence: Achieve a measurable uplift in brand sentiment and campaign engagement by redefining visual standards and creative execution for all major retail and financial product launches within the first 6 months.

  • Scale Creative Production: Increase asset output by 40% while maintaining a 100% brand consistency rating by building and deploying a modular campaign design system (templates and asset libraries) for digital, OOH, and retail channels.

  • Architect the AI Design Layer: Reduce creative production bottlenecks through the definition, training, and integration of AI-assisted workflows (e.g., automated image generation and social formatting)

  • Unify Cross-Channel Brand Voice: Ensure zero visual regressions in public-facing assets by implementing a robust creative governance and review process that aligns brand strategy, performance marketing, and retail partner needs.

  • Upskill and Lead the Design Squad: Improve team performance and engagement scores by mentoring the creative team on advanced design craft and AI fluency, resulting in 100% of the team meeting elevated quality benchmarks within 12 months.

What we’re looking for

  • Creative Leadership & Design Craft

    • 5+ years leading creative design teams in fast-paced environments (fintech, e-commerce, creative agency, or high-growth startup), with a portfolio that demonstrates both creative ambition and versatility across a broad range of formats campaigns, OOH, digital, retail, social, brand identity.

    • Has a proven track record of producing breakthrough creative work that sets a new visual standard and then builds the systems and templates that help others reach it consistently.

    • Sets an exceptionally high creative bar while staying pragmatic about timelines, production constraints, and the realities of shipping in a fast-moving environment. Knows the difference between perfectionism and craft.

    Visual Communication for Financial & Retail Campaigns

    • Has experience designing for financial products or retail campaigns able to make complex, sensitive, or regulation adjacent communications feel clear, credible, and visually compelling for diverse audiences.

    • Strong intuition for how design decisions affect trust and conversion understands that in financial services, design isn't just about aesthetics but about making people feel safe enough to act.

    • Generalist versatility: equally comfortable concepting a large-format OOH campaign, directing a retail activation, designing a performance creative set, or building a landing page and able to move fluidly between these without losing creative coherence.

    AI Fluency & Aesthetic Judgment

    • Proven experience using AI tools as an active part of their design process not experimenting from the sidelines, but integrating them into real production workflows with real brand constraints.

    • Has the taste and aesthetic judgment to evaluate AI-generated output critically: knows when it's genuinely useful, when it's off-brand, and when it's just "AI slop" and can articulate the difference clearly to a team.

    • Can design brand guardrails, prompt libraries, and quality checklists that make AI-assisted output consistent and brand-safe, enabling the team to move faster without trading quality for speed.

    Systems Thinking & Operational Creativity

    • Thinks beyond what they can personally produce finds ways to multiply their creative impact through scalable systems, modular design frameworks, and external partnerships with freelancers or agencies.

    • Has experience building or operationalizing a design system for campaign or brand use: not just a component library, but a living system that others can use to produce great work without needing constant creative direction.

    • Strong cultural intuition: quickly calibrates on what makes a specific company's brand tick, and brings creative ideas that feel unexpected but unmistakably right for that context.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborative and generous working style , genuinely enjoys helping others level up their own creative output, gives clear and constructive feedback, and builds trust with non-design stakeholders through well-reasoned creative decisions.

    • Works fluidly with brand strategy, copy, performance marketing, and product teams able to translate briefs from multiple directions into unified, visually coherent creative with a clear point of view.

    • Balances creative ambition with practical constraints in a fast-moving environment where new needs and formats emerge regularly.

    Adaptability & Resourcefulness

    • Thrives in high-ambiguity, high-velocity environments. Builds structure where there is none, ships quality work under pressure, and adjusts creative direction without losing momentum or integrity.

    • Highly resourceful able to do more with less, stretch limited budgets creatively, and make smart calls about when to invest in craft and when to move fast.

How the hiring process looks like

    A more in-depth conversation with the hiring manager, where we explore your skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.

  • Step 3: Stakeholder Interview (30 min)A conversation with your Product Director to discuss product strategy, technical trade-offs, and collaboration. Be ready to showcase how your design decisions and product delivery align with business and user needs

  • Step 4: Practical Exercise (60 min)
    You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role.

  • Step 5: Co-Founder Interview (30 min)
    If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
