About the Role
We’re looking for someone who can sniff out the best talent in home services across the country—from painters in Phoenix to handypeople in Houston, from photographers in Philly to locksmiths in LA. You’ll be on the front lines of sourcing, vetting, onboarding, and managing vendors who make our homes look and feel ready for their next chapter.
This isn’t a desk-bound, wait-for-requests kind of role. You’ll be hunting down top-notch pros, negotiating rates that work for everyone, and onboarding them into our ecosystem—all while juggling cross-functional requests from multiple teams. Organization and speed are your weapons; communication and discernment are your superpowers.
What You’ll Do
Find the best: Proactively source high-quality vendors across multiple trades (painters,cleaners, photographers, handyman, etc.) across every market we operate in
Vet for quality: Review portfolios, check licenses and insurance, read between the lines—ensure each vendor meets our bar for quality, professionalism, and reliability
Negotiate smartly: Lock in competitive rates and scopes that align with our unit economics, while building strong, sustainable vendor relationships
Own the onboarding: Get vendors set up in our systems and tools (CRM, payments, SOPs), ensuring a seamless and standardized experience
Be a hub: Coordinate across Ops, Sales, and Support to prioritize sourcing requests, escalate coverage gaps, and communicate vendor availability and capabilities
Stay organized: Keep meticulous records of outreach, negotiations, and onboarding statuses—track everything so nothing falls through the cracks
Move fast: Operate with urgency while balancing long-term scalability
Minimun Requirement
- 1-2 years of experience in Vendor management, ops or sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and comfort using CRMs, spreadsheets and task management tools.
