About the Role:
The Senior CRM & Lifecycle Specialist will be responsible for owning the end to end execution of all omni-channel communications campaigns (including email, SMS, push, in-app messaging, landing pages) across the customer lifecycle.
This is a high-impact and fast-paced role that will work cross-functionally to directly contribute to member engagement and new & renewing revenue. A passion for personalization and a customer-first mindset is core to the CRM programs you'll deliver.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who loves the challenge of diving into the technical details and logic, while also collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver on key marketing initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Own and execute all aspects of growth and member omni-channel campaigns within Braze, including email, SMS, push, in-app messaging and landing pages
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (marketing, growth, product managers, data, and engineering) to develop and deploy campaigns and automations that deliver a positive and error-free user experience. This includes campaign ideation, development, data segmentation, end-to-end QA + testing, deployment, and performance analysis
Own and execute on automated and triggered journeys to consistently deliver key messages and drive sustainable and recurring actions and impact
Leverage and maximize use of Braze tools & features such as liquid logic and dynamic content to deliver on stakeholders creative goals and implement scalable personalization methods
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data teams to solution on technical needs for campaign audience filters, triggers and conversion tracking – ensuring data cleanliness and accuracy in Braze
Manage communications intake process and monthly comms calendar; partner with key stakeholders in creative, copy and business to prioritize accordingly
Analyze and deliver comprehensive reporting on campaign engagement and impact, as well as overall communications and file health
Set up tracking, implement tests, monitor performance, and make data-driven optimization recommendations
Investigate errors and support troubleshooting technical issues with all internal teams to maintain positive potential new member/member experience
Build, maintain and optimize email templates, advising on and adhering to best practices that increase engagement
Train and advise other internal teams on how to use Braze, mitigating risk & increasing efficiency
What you’ve done and enjoy doing:
You have experience using a large ESP (Braze preferred)
You have hands-on experience building, managing, QAing and deploying at least two of the following channels: email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging and landing pages
You enjoy building both a basic monthly newsletter as well as a complex customer journey with liquid logic
You’ve collaborated with Data and Engineering teams to request, test, and QA user data for segment building and campaign logic
You’ve conducted A/B tests, reporting out on findings and optimizing based on results
You’ve built new campaigns, reports and processes from scratch and are not afraid to find new and creative solutions in order to reach an end result
You've managed both marketing and transactional campaigns and understand the distinct strategies and considerations required for each
You can effectively communicate ideas to both technical and non technical teams
You’re self-motivated with a data-driven mindset and the willingness to learn
You’re extremely organized, can problem solve independently and are comfortable managing tight deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail
Nice to haves:
You have a creative eye with the ability to make recommendations on email template designs and copy
You understand the different types of data pipelines and have experience with Segment CDP and Salesforce data
You have HTML/CSS knowledge
You have experience building webhook and API-triggered campaigns

The base salary for this role is: $100,000
Chief participates in the E-Verify Program in certain locations, as required by law.
