Position Title: Associate, IT Specialist (#DH-1279)
Position Location: 300 Montgomery St., Suite 350, San Francisco, CA 94104
*100% remote position reporting to San Francisco, CA.
Salary: $98,300/ per year
Days / Hours: Mon – Fri / 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Summary of Duties: Provide support to Divvy’s remote employees to effectively utilize and manage software and hardware tools to successfully do their jobs. Maintain enterprise systems and IT assets. Develop, maintain and improve IT security tools. Solve computer hardware and software issues. Process hardware and software requests. Onboard new hires, support existing employees, and ensure IT systems used on a daily basis are secure and reliable. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. Develop and implement training materials and procedures, to train employees in the proper use of hardware or software. Deploy computers or other hardware to employees. Remotely support Divvy Employees. Collaborate with other teams to onboard new employees. Modify and customize commercial programs for internal needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering or related field of study and 2 years of experience in IT Security, IT Customer Support or any combination thereof. Employer will accept 3 years of post-secondary education and 3 years of experience in IT Security, IT Customer Support or any combination thereof, in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2 years of experience.
Applicants must have 2 years of demonstrated experience with:
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software requests;
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting basic technical issues;
- Deploying computers or other hardware to employees;
- Developing, maintaining and improving IT assets and security tools;
- Training employees on best IT practices;
- Collaborating with other teams to onboard new employees;
- Leveraging software systems and automation to streamline request processes;
- Implementing document handling procedures to standardize data across user applications; and
- Processing a high volume of confidential emails within the SLA (service level agreement).
Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

To maintain fairness and keep starting total comp the same for anyone who comes into that position, individual pay is determined by role, level, and work location only. At the offer stage, we give candidates 3 different offers to choose from depending on how they want to favor cash vs equity. The US-based salary for this position is $98,300/yr + equity + benefits.
