Our Team
The Vault Radar Infrastructure team builds and maintains the core systems that power our cloud and on-prem platforms. We focus on reliability, scalability, and security so the product team can ship features confidently. Our core stack includes Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform, Postgres, RabbitMQ and AWS services.
In this role, you will:
Operate as a Subject Matter Expert on multiple critical components of a specific product, by combining the expected customer journey with the inner technical workings of said components
Work directly with Customers and collaborate with HashiCorp Sales/Field Partners, Customer Support and Core Engineering teams.
Effectively triage and respond to incidents and drive escalations from start to resolution.
Troubleshoot and reproduce complex problems, leveraging and aggregating information from various sources including: Customer Support description of the issue, studying logs, looking at configurations, looking at current database state and looking at source code
Ability to read and write in Golang code (and possibly other languages depending on the team/product)
Ability to read and write database queries in database technologies (such as Postgres)
Ability to fix defects and technical debt in the product by collaborating closely with code owners on the Core R&D team, and contributing to source code
Demonstrated ability to work with customers and collaborate across customer-facing functions
Familiarity with implementing and executing workaround scripts
Comfortable troubleshooting difficult incidents under time pressure
Familiarity with HashiCorp products and has worked in Core R&D functions supporting HashiCorp products.
