As a Customer Success Engineer you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Strategy Development: Create strategic plans for clients, focusing on identity & access management and infrastructure automation.
- IBM Automation Solution Design: Define practical IBM Automation solutions that enhance existing technology stacks.
- Proof of Concept Delivery: Provide proof of concepts and simplifying technical concepts to ensure client comprehension.
- Building Credibility and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is essential for closing complex technology deals.
- Support the client with the deployment to ensure the client maximises business benefits of the purchased software
- Hands on experience in the space of Security and Infrastructure Automation (Identity Access Management, Secrets Management, Infrastructure as code and Network Performance Management).
- Firm understanding and hands on experience with Cloud providers i.e. IBM Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge for demos and running hands on workshops.
- Experience with Infrastructure concepts and technologies (SOA, Kubernetes, Microservices, VMWare, etc)
- Proven track record in handling multiple customers/opportunities at the same time and driving the opportunities to a successful sales closure.
- Experience with technology solutions and a deep level of technical skills in the assigned specialty products.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with clients and sales professionals.
- Experience successfully engaging with clients to identify, progress and win technology sales opportunities.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and a matrix management organization.
- Fluent in one of the Swiss national languages: German and/or French
- Fluent in English
- Experience with IBM Software
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault & Terraform and RedHat OpenShift
- Experiential selling including co-creation with clients and hands-on selling methods such as: demos, custom demos, Proofs of concept, Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) or other technical proofs
- Master Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
