About the Role
Houzz is looking for an exceptional Partnerships and Communications Coordinator to join our global Branding & Communications team. The ideal candidate will be a communications rockstar passionate about telling stories, producing creative content, building and managing positive relationships with external partners, and promoting brands.
The duration of the internship is 1 year starting on 10/7/2024 through 10/7/2025.

What You’ll Do

  • Support to develop and execute all the aspects of current partnership programs that build awareness for Houzz and our offering, as well as drive positive media impact and buzz.
  • Developing relationships with existing partners to ensure ongoing support for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Support to identify opportunities for growth in existing partnerships or develop new partnerships with complementary top media leaders and/or organizations.
  • Maintain accurate records of partnership activity, including updated content calendar, visuals tracking and other pertinent details.
  • Write content materials, including articles, case studies, guides, blog posts, proactive pitches and more.
  • Build relationships with internal leads to mine for/uncover stories and collaborate on partnerships and branding initiatives.
  • Support the event team to increase awareness of company offerings among target demographics.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities to insert Houzz and our offering into news trends/stories.
  • Manage Social Media channels.
  • Execute social content calendar and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Communicate with social media followers, respond to queries and monitor inbound queries.
  • Perform other related duties as required, including ad-hoc tasks for our research program.

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

  • Some professional communications and branding experience and/or a strong appetite for communications, branding and social media.
  • Ability to be flexible and support diverse projects/needs, juggling multiple competing priorities with skill.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in French and English.
  • Must be able to think analytically and strategically.
  • A self-starter that can work on multiple products simultaneously and consistently deliver stellar results in a remote environment.
  • Results-oriented: demonstrated intellect, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are key.
  • Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • Currently following a Master’s degree in marketing and/or communication or related fields (a valid internship agreement from your school is required).
