  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing home screen and onboarding experiences..
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to lead design teams and drive business results through user-centered design.
  • Deep understanding of user research methodologies and user analytics.
  • Expertise in A/B testing and data-driven design optimization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Experience owning the Home and/or onboarding experience of a consumer app.
  • Personalization expertise with understanding of techniques for designing adaptive interfaces that cater to individual user needs.
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems.

As Stori's Design Director for Stori’s Home & user onboarding, you will lead and inspire a team of talented designers to create exceptional user experiences that drive engagement and product adoption within our multi-product banking app. You will be responsible for developing a cohesive design vision and strategy for the app's home screen and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our users. You will be a data-driven leader with a passion for user-centered design and a proven track record of driving business results through design. Your work will directly impact millions of users across Latin America, revolutionizing how they manage their finances.

What You'll Own

  • Design leadership: Lead and mentor several teams of designers, providing guidance, feedback, support, growth and inspiration.
  • Design vision & strategy: Develop a clear and compelling proposal that encompasses personalization, financial product discovery and user education.
  • User research & analysis: Conduct user research and analyze user data to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Design execution: Oversee the design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring high-quality design deliverables.
  • A/B testing & optimization: Run A/B tests to validate design decisions and optimize for key metrics.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.

Design system contribution: Contribute to and advocate for the use of Stori's design system.
