The ideal candidate will be an expert in data analysis, with skills in Python and/or SQL, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights to improve our risk mitigation strategies.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fraud analysis, business intelligence, or data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and/ or SQL, with proven experience in using these tools for analysis and data modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends within complex data sets.
  • Experience in creating analytical dashboards and reports, ideally with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret data within the context of business objectives.
  • Familiarity with fraud metrics and model evaluation, such as false positive rates, accuracy, and recall.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Skilled at analyzing complex issues and creating solutions in fraud scenarios.
  • Communication: Clear in conveying analytical insights to diverse audiences.
  • Teamwork & Adaptability: Collaborative and flexible, thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Attention to Detail & Time Management: Precise and efficient, managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of fraud patterns using large data sets to identify trends and critical points.
  • Develop and enhance analytical models for fraud detection, utilizing Python and/or SQL to perform detailed analyses.
  • Design and monitor key fraud-related metrics such as accuracy, recall, false positive, and false negative rates, using these data to optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop fraud prevention strategies based on statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Create reports and dashboards to present insights clearly and concisely, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Research and explore new analytical methodologies and advanced tools to improve fraud detection capabilities.
  • Perform ad hoc analyzes to answer specific questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
