The Senior Accountant is part of our Global Accounting and Tax team. This role oversees Stori’s global operating expenses and plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and process excellence. The Senior Accountant will manage expenses and intercompany transactions, partner with department leads to analyze spend and variances, and lead month-end close activities. The position will also support audits, while driving process improvements and scalable automation across the accounting function.

• College degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field

• Knowledge and background of CNBV and SAT requirements

• Knowledge and background in US GAAP

• Advanced level of English

• Understanding of differences in tax and accounting across multiple countries

• Manage all company operating expenses across Clara/Coupa/NetSuite.

• Partner with department leads to review spend, explain monthly variances, and support budget vs actual analysis.

• Lead month-end close activities for operating expenses, including accruals, prepaids, and reclasses.

• Prepare and maintain monthly intercompany transactions and service fee records, along with reconciliations

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for key expense and clearing accounts.

• Record and reconcile foreign currency transactions across multiple currencies and entities

• Support internal and external audit requests related to expenses, controls, and reconciliations

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement scalable improvements.

• Research and resolve complex accounting issues as they arise.

• Perform other related duties as needed.
