Role Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for implementing and optimizing strategic partnerships that drive customer acquisition, usage, and loyalty for Stori.
This role combines business analysis, commercial execution, ext and cross-functional coordination with other areas (Product, Marketing, CRM, Data, Legal, and Finance) to manage projects end-to-end — from opportunity identification to results measurement.

Main Responsibilities

1. Partnership and Commercial Campaign Execution

  • Manage the portfolio of active partnerships (Affinity, Co-branded, Installments, Cashback).

  • Coordinate implementation processes: benefit definition, communication, in-app visibility, and operational follow-up.

  • Support commercial negotiations and contract renewals.

  • Prepare performance reports, analysis, and presentations for senior management and external partners.

  • Monitor compliance with contractual and operational commitments.

2. Installment Program (MSI) Strategy and Operations

  • Execute “Meses Sin Intereses” (interest-free installment) campaigns in coordination with merchants and aggregators.

  • Analyze performance data (TPV, average ticket, frequency, category).

  • Recommend improvements to installment offers by industry and merchant type.

  • Participate in high-impact seasonal campaigns (Buen Fin, Hot Sale, Back to School, etc.).

  • Ensure proper integration and visibility across Stori’s communication channels.

3. Data Intelligence and Opportunity Prioritization

  • Analyze transaction and customer behavior data to identify new business opportunities.

  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards (Redshift / QuickSight / Sheets).

  • Generate periodic reports with actionable insights for partner prioritization.

  • Evaluate ROI, impact on transactional usage, and NABs attributable to each initiative.

4. Commercial Innovation and New Initiatives

  • Support the development of new value propositions for customers or merchants (cashback, benefits, assistance programs, digital experiences).

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to test and launch pilots or MVPs that enhance user experience.

  • Document learnings and suggest improvements for future implementations.

5. Internal Processes and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Maintain the partnerships and campaign pipeline updated.

  • Track key business KPIs: NABs, incremental TPV, engagement, and ROI.

  • Coordinate deliverables with internal teams (Legal, Data, Product, CRM, Marketing).

  • Standardize templates and operational processes to improve efficiency.

  • Timely and effective execution of installment, cashback, and partnership campaigns

  • Increase in customer acquisition and transactional usage attributable to BD projects.

  • Clear business insights and consistent reporting to support strategic decisions.

  • Streamlined operations and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or partnerships.

  • Background in fintech, banking, retail, or payment ecosystems.

  • Knowledge of installment (MSI), cashback, loyalty, or B2B partnership programs.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, QuickSight, or BI tools is a plus.

  • Strong presentation and project coordination skills across functions.

  • Intermediate–advanced English (written and spoken).
