We are seeking a talented and driven Senior AI Engineer to join our growing team focused on building the next generation of customer-facing products powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives that directly enhance the customer experience, from conversational AI and voice agents to intelligent automation. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and optimizing LLM-driven solutions that will revolutionize how our customers interact with financial services. Looking ahead, this team will also be pivotal in building a robust GenAI platform to empower all Stori product teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into their offerings.
LLM Product Development. At least 1-2 years of professional experience building and deploying conversational AI chat and/or voice agents. Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and strategies for optimizing LLM outputs. Understanding of agentic frameworks and architectures, vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques, MCP Servers, and writing evals.
AWS Cloud Engineering. 5 years of experience developing and deploying scalable solutions on AWS cloud services using a wide range of services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) managing infrastructure-as-code with CDK or Cloudformation.
Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions
Knowledge of Gen AI-related tools and libraries: You know your way around libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Pydantic. Bonus points if you’re familiar with tools such as ElevenLabs and n8n.
Python mastery. Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers). Experience with Golang is desired.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical and efficient solutions.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. Strong knowledge of mathematics and algorithm development.

Design and Develop LLM-Powered Products: Architect, build, and deploy conversational chat and voice agents and other automated systems that leverage state-of-the-art LLMs to deliver seamless and intelligent customer interactions.
Prompt Engineering & Model Optimization: Craft effective prompts, fine-tune LLMs, and implement strategies to optimize model performance, accuracy, and efficiency for specific FinTech use cases.
Integrate AI with Existing Systems: Seamlessly integrate LLM-based solutions with Stori's existing infrastructure, APIs and data sources.
Evaluate and Monitor Performance: Establish metrics, evals, and implement monitoring tools and continuously evaluate the performance of deployed AI systems, iterating for improvement.
Research & Innovation: Stay up to date on the latest advancements in LLMs, generative AI and conversational AI, identifying opportunities to apply new techniques and technologies to Stori's products.
Platform Development: Contribute to the design and development of a GenAI platform that will enable other Stori product teams to easily leverage generative AI capabilities.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers, data scientists and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver impactful solutions.
Ethical AI & Responsible Innovation: Ensure the development and deployment of AI systems that adhere to ethical guidelines, privacy regulations and responsible AI principles.
