About the Role
We are searching for an Accounting professional who is excited to combine technical accounting expertise with a passion for AI driven process improvement to lead our General Ledger and Accounts Receivable teams. This role will own the completeness and accuracy of our general ledger including technical accounting assessments, preparation of external financial statements, and AI (Claude) assisted process improvements across the accounting organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Own end to end monthly close, quarterly investor reporting, and annual audit with support from the Controller as necessary
- Viewed as the go-to person by FP&A for all accounting and reporting questions
- Proactively manage team to ensure high performance
- Identify ways to use Claude to improve the monthly, external reporting, and technical accounting processes
- Oversee the accounts receivable with a focus on use of AI to expedite day to day operations. Assist Client services with invoice audit methodology and Growth Eng with Product roadmap
What you bring:
- Must have
- CPA, Big 4 and Technical Accounting Experience
- Progressive upward movement at an established tech-company
- Experience working with Product/Eng to drive process improvements
- Experience with software implementation, improvement etc.
- Nice to have:
- Claude experience
- IPO experience
- Start-Up Experience
- Experience overseeing Fin-Ops
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $170,000 – $200,000 per year.
