We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. In this role, you will ensure our IT systems and processes adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, with a focus on ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), IT General Controls (ITGC) and ITAC (IT Application Controls) requirements. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance and a track record of successfully implementing and maintaining SOX ITGC and ITAC controls at a publicly traded company.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in Colorado.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing expert guidance and support to cross functional teams regarding IT compliance requirements and best practices

  • Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with SOX ITGC and ITAC and other regulatory requirements

  • Coordinating and leading regulatory IT control testing with internal audit team

  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues, recommending solutions, and working with process and control owners to remediate findings

  • Performing and facilitating User Access Reviews for in-scope IT systems

  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors to provide information and support during audits

  • Staying current on regulations, laws, and industry guidelines relevant to the business and providing updates to management and other relevant stakeholders

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of Ibotta’s IT infrastructure, applications, and systems to identify potential risks and areas of improvement

  • Working with IT and business teams to ensure that all IT systems and processes are in compliance with SOX ITGC and ITAC and other regulatory requirements

  • Providing guidance and training to employees on SOX ITGC and ITAC and other regulatory compliance requirements

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT regulatory compliance, at least 2 of which must be specifically with SOX ITGC and ITAC

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Information Systems or related field, or commensurate experience

  • Experience working as an internal auditor and/or in the capacity of working internally for an organization for SOX ITGC and ITAC compliance a plus

  • Solid understanding of SOX ITGC and ITAC and best practicesTechnical auditing skills, with the goal of maximizing testing efficiencies and internal controls assessments, ability to translate controls to technical stakeholders

  • Experience developing narratives and flowcharts documenting internal control processes

  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Solid attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of IT systems and Cloud environments (AWS, etc.)

  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO, and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity.

  • Base compensation range: $100,000 - $114,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
