Ibotta is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Platform Strategy to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. You'll own the commercial story of the Ibotta Performance Network, building the messaging architecture that Sales, Sales Enablement, and Demand Generation rely on to win in market. You'll be at the center of Ibotta's repositioning from consumer cashback app to performance network — shaping how the market understands why Ibotta is a differentiated growth platform for brands, retailers, and publishers. This is a platform-level role for someone who can synthesize complexity across an interconnected ecosystem and turn it into a clear, compelling, and credible commercial story.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:
Own the Ibotta Performance Network (IPN) master narrative—the foundational commercial story that defines how the market understands Ibotta and powers every GTM motion.
Shape how the market understands Ibotta by evolving our category narrative, platform positioning, and long-term commercial story as the ecosystem continues to evolve.
Define and evolve Ibotta's messaging architecture — from top-level platform positioning and solution narratives to capability-level proof points — ensuring every commercial experience tells one coherent story.
Establish and govern Ibotta's messaging framework, ensuring Sales, Sales Enablement, Marketing, and other teams consistently communicate approved positioning across every commercial touchpoint.
Define and continuously evolve Ibotta's differentiated market position against alternative commerce and performance marketing solutions, ensuring our value proposition remains compelling as the market evolves.
Own the unified data narrative — bringing together publisher data, audience intelligence, measurement, and AI capabilities into a differentiated commercial story that clearly communicates customer value.
Lead competitive strategy by monitoring the retail media landscape, anticipating market shifts, and translating competitive intelligence into differentiated positioning, messaging, and sales collateral.
Lead the Voice of Customer program by synthesizing customer, market, analyst, and field insights into quarterly narrative recommendations that inform positioning and commercial strategy.
Partner with Sales leadership to develop executive-level commercial narratives for enterprise customers, strategic partnerships, and marquee opportunities.
Own the commercial source-of-truth library, ensuring messaging, positioning, and strategic assets remain current, consistent, and accessible across the organization.

What we are looking for:
8+ years of experience across Product Marketing, Brand Strategy, Commercial Strategy, or related disciplines, with a demonstrated track record of shaping company or platform narratives.
Experience in retail media, adtech, commerce media, or performance marketing ecosystems required. Experience with networks, marketplaces, or platform businesses is strongly preferred.
Deep familiarity with enterprise CPG marketing organizations and how brands evaluate advertising and commerce platforms. Experience working at a CPG company or directly supporting CPG customers is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success building company, platform, or category narratives—not just product-level messaging. Experience repositioning products or defining emerging categories is highly valued.
Exceptional writer capable of creating narratives that influence executives, enterprise customers, investors, and analysts. Writing samples will be requested as part of the interview process.
Experience building scalable messaging governance, positioning frameworks, and commercial enablement systems that drive organizational consistency.
Proven ability to synthesize across complex, interconnected product capabilities and translate that complexity into a unified commercial story.
Experience with competitive intelligence, market positioning, and VOC programs
Ability to distill highly technical platform and data capabilities into clear, persuasive narratives for C-suite and brand decision-maker audiences.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with significant organizational change.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $123,000 - $143,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
