Your impact

Handshake is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Growth Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Field Marketing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in organising large-scale events, developing integrated marketing strategies, and deploying field marketing techniques to acquire users or leads. This role will play a crucial part in our growth strategy by leveraging field marketing techniques to enhance our brand presence, engage with students and educational institutions, and generate new business opportunities.

Your role

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Organise and manage conference operations across multiple regions and ensure seamless event execution across multiple regions in EMEA.
  • Develop comprehensive event strategies, including budgeting, logistics, and PR activities, tailored for higher education and early career audiences.
  • Strong understanding of utilising social media platforms to engage with target audiences to drive event attendance, track campaign performance and quantify ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design impactful sales pitches and product demos tailored for specific events and partner organisations.

Integrated Marketing Campaigns:

  • Create and implement integrated communications strategies to enhance Handshake’s brand presence.
  • Design and execute media promotions for conference appearances using various platforms, including social media.
  • Develop post-event marketing and financial reports, providing insights on KPIs and ROI to senior leadership.

Sales and Partner Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the Sales team to align field marketing activities with sales goals and initiatives.
    • Design and execute strategies to promote Handshake to university students and
    • Manage partnerships with key stakeholders to optimise event outcomes and enhance Handshake’s visibility in the market.

Your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field from a UK university
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in field marketing or a related role.
  • Proven track record of organising and managing events.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working closely with Sales and Brand teams.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly ambitious, resourceful, creative and entrepreneurial

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
