Overview:

As Seismic continues to expand its Product Management and Engineering teams, there is a growing need to strengthen our Technical Program Management capabilities. Our team partners with 600+ R&D colleagues to align company goals with the successful delivery of high-quality software releases across major cloud platforms, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. We bring structure to cross-team efforts, including software development, release cycles, and production support at scale.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and Business Stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of complex technical programs. Reporting into centralized TPM org, you will be pivotal in bringing operational clarity to complex issues within Engineering Operations, serving as the go-to resource for process-related topics and status updates on key programs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure the timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality execution of complex programs with multiple dependencies.
  • Act as a strategic leader, ensuring smooth delivery of critical releases while fostering alignment, transparency, and accountability.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to track progress, align priorities.
  • Drive software release planning and execution, leading cross-functional teams through all phases, from concept to GA.
  • Proactively identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and maintain execution plans at both the scrum and portfolio levels.
  • Provide clear, concise, and data-backed updates to executives, developers, product managers, and support teams.
  • Champion best practices in software delivery, continuously refining workflows to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Create dashboards and scorecards to monitor KPIs, track progress, assess risks, and optimize decision-making.
  • Partner with Teams to utilize historical data and analytics to refine project timelines and enforce test coverage standards for high-quality releases.
  • Facilitate key agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, scrum of scrums, release planning, and retrospectives.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and technical concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data.

The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.

Seismic’s salary range for this position is: $137,400 USD$237,100 USD

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary.

The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
