What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Work in the DevOps mindset by identifying bottlenecks and implementing build/automation tools to increase reliability and speed.
• Oversee the production environment by monitoring availability using the latest observability technologies.
• Enable the DevOps culture in our R&D by encouraging self-service and building tools to support our velocity.
• Own the deployment lifecycle from architecture to implementation across multiple regions and environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with 8+ years in DevOps/SRE/Production Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with production workloads running on public cloud infrastructure (GCP / AWS).
• Expertise in microservice architecture and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity and implementation knowledge with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Thanos, and Prometheus.
• Experience with zero trust security solutions (we don’t like VPNs ;-)).
• In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD pipelines like Github Actions, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts.
• Scripting/programming skills with Bash, Python, and Go.
• Proficient in IAC (Infrastructure as Code) tools, for example, Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics.
